Malaysia bans Western magazinesFrom correspondents in Kuala LumpurNovember 28, 2004
PREDOMINANTLY Muslim Malaysia has banned 40 books and magazines published in Britain and the United States deemed to have unsuitable sexual content. The order was made by the Internal Security Ministry, which warned that anybody possessing or distributing the banned titles faced jail or a fine, Bernama news agency reported yesterday.
Among the banned British publications were popular men's magazines Maxim and Loaded.
Among the American publications were Forbidden Flowers, Women on Top and My Secret Garden, all by Nancy Friday and published by Pocket Books of New York.
Others titles include The Gay Guy's Guide To Love, The Mammoth Book of Gay Erotica, 101 Nights of Great Sex and The Art of Sensual Aromatherapy
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If the public of asom can really understand all these western magazines and their real motives , then there would not have been the problem as we have seen recently over the fashion show , the gay problem that we have come to see after the hindu nationalists goverment over the centre , now a days in the trains and in public places we can see them see on a free ran .
